Sujit Kumar: There are many stars in Bollywood who left their studies midway to fulfill their dream of becoming an actor. There was another actor who left law to work in films. This hero mostly played side characters in Bollywood but later he became a superstar in Bhojpuri cinema. He gave many hit films with Rajesh Khanna and also worked with Dharmendra, Jeetendra and other Bollywood stars.

Yes, he is none other than Sujit Kumar. Sujit had proved his acting prowess in many films but they had a very painful end.

However, the actor was the first superstar of Bhojpuri cinema and played lead roles in more than 20 films like Bidesiya, Ganga Maiya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo, Dangal, Bhaiya Dooj and Paan Khae Saiyan Hamar. In his career spanning over 30 years, the actor worked in more than 150 films and later left acting to become a producer. He had produced films like Anubhav, Aasmaan Se Uncha, Khel, Daaar, Champion, Atbaar and Ganga Kahe Pukar Ke.

Sujit Kumar had a painful death
Sujit Kumar was suffering from cancer since 2007 and in 2010, he died while fighting the battle against this disease. His wife, Kiran Singh, died in 2005, just two years before his death. Sujit Kumar had two children, a son Jatin Kumar and a daughter Mehndi Singh. Sujit Kumar may not be in this world today but he is alive in the hearts of his fans.
